Economic collaboration of those three countries is constantly developing. The deepening of relations is reflected in big transit projects like the oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceihan and the gas pipeline which transfers gas to Turkey from the Azeri side via Georgia. The Tbilisi-Baku-Karsi railway was also opened in 2013.
Since 2012, 272 Azeri companies have been registered in Georgia and nearly 7,000 jobs have been created inside the country. In the last 5 years, Azeri investment in Georgia totals $ 800 million.
The economic relations between Georgia and Turkey are also deep. Through the memorandum signed between the Georgian Industry Group and the Turkish Mimsan Group, a new thermo-electric power station will be constructed in the Gardabani region in Georgia.
