The 2012 State Budget has created considerable confusion among economists and analysts. Almost all independent analysts claim that this year’s state budget was heavily oriented towards helping the United National Movement win reelection in the parliamentary elections. Analysts point to a lack of detailed information in large parts of the budget as evidence that money was spent improperly. So in the last two months of the year the incoming new government will have to do its best to sort out and balance the budget.
