Bidzina Ivanishvili, who came from business to politics, realizes very well that the backbone of the country’s economy is small and medium sized businesses. They create the biggest portion of the country’s welfare and therefore should be supported by all means. Several times Ivanishvili mentioned that increasing taxes will bring little if any results. Whereas creating more businesses will definitely increases tax payers inside the country which is the way to success. Newly appointed finance minister Nodar Khaduri has repeated several times that small and medium sized businesses will receive the utmost support from officials. He stated that the country aims to harmonize its taxation system so that tax administration should not force bankruptcy on the companies. Therefore it should be simple and accessible to small and medium sized businesses. The new administration thinks that reviving a private arbitrary court system to create certain benefits and facilitating all possible legal means in the development of small and medium businesses is the way forward.
