Adjara most attractive region for tourism

Ilia University carried out a survey to identify which of the Georgian touristic regions was most attractive in 2011. It appeared that the most attractive touristic destination was the Adjara region. Two major factors were taken into consideration– the number of tourists entering the region and the money they spent there. The most attractive in this regard was Adjara, then Svaneti followed by Kakheti.
