The Messenger staff congratulates Americans on Thanksgiving Day. On Thanksgiving people gather with their family and friends to give thanks for what they are grateful. The typical Thanksgiving meal is turkey (indauri in Georgian) served with a variety of vegetables, potatoes, stuffing, etc. The Georgian people are thankful for the continued support that the United States has provided in the last 20 years. May the friendship between the two countries long continue!
Yesterday, the American Friendship Club held an event dedicated to Thanksgiving Day. The event was hosted by the American Centre Langate. The event was attended by US Embassy representatives, students and professors from universities.
