Economic loss due to Karabakh conflict

The head of the political analysis and information department of the Azerbaijan president’s administration, Elmur Aslanov said, the overall loss the country has received from the Karabakh conflict came to $431 billion. The occupation of Azeri territories has created the utmost threat of stability of the region. Azerbaijan demands form the world community and Armenia two major principles for a peaceful agreement. The first is Azerbaijan territorial integrity and the second – the withdrawal of Armenia’s military presence from the occupied territories without any preconditions. At the same time, Azerbaijan is ready to make serious investment for of Karabakh development.
