Russia to allot billions into developing North Caucasus

In December last year Russian federation government received new development program for the North Caucasus covering the period up to 2025. The program envisages three stages of development: Russian Prime Minister Dimitri Medvedev stated that the reason for the new economic moves is to create centers for economic growth in the region. Russian officials promised that by 2025, more than 400, 000 new jobs will be created. The investments from the state budget will increase what will eventually result in improvement of the living level and the welfare of Russian citizens.
