Georgian wine to occupy over 4% of Russian market

Commenting on the return of Georgia wine to the Russian market, Russia's chief sanitary doctor Genady Onishenko once again stressed that the return of Georgian wine to their market is a very insignificant fact. Probably for Georgia it could be very important, however Georgian wine can only occupy about 4% of the entire Russian market which Onishenko thinks is not significant. Onishenko also spoke about the visit of Russian experts to Georgia in the near future, which will result in the final endorsement of Georgian products to the Russian market. Meanwhile, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili highlighted utmost significance of the fact of return of Georgian products to Russian market. He is confident that wine will open the way to other local products.
