Changes to the budget

Increased revenue in the budget is largely the result of serious budget cuts for reckless and wasteful public projects. This has allowed a much-needed increase in spending for social programs. The healthcare budget has almost doubled, and on April 1st monthly pensions will be increased to 125 GEL with a further increase to 150 GEL expected by the autumn.
