The Georgian PM recently said that Georgia is ready to supply the Tskhinvali region and in particular the Akhalgori district with natural gas. However, this time Tskhinvali officials refused his offer. Until today, Georgia was not supplying this district because the Tskhinvali puppet regime wanted this gas to be supplied to the Russian military base as well. This was unacceptable for the Georgian side. In return for the gas supply, Georgia wanted several Georgian villages to be supplied with water as they had been provided with water from the Tskhinvali region territory. The deal for gas in exchange for water did not work.
