Geostat Releases January Foreign Trade Preliminary Data

Georgia’s foreign trade turnover was $665 million in January, a 1% year-on-year increase, according to preliminary data released by the state statistics office Geostat.
In January there was a 25.1% increase in exports at a value of $196.3 million; but imports declined by 6.4% in January to $468.4 million; the trade gap was $272.1 million, a 20.9% decline, according to preliminary data.
Next week Geostat will release detailed figures of foreign trade for January. (Civil.Ge)
