Azerbaijan restricts imports from Georgia

Georgian exports to Azerbaijan are facing difficulties. Azeri officials are trying to protect their country's agricultural sector by restricting imports from Georgia. Recently Azerbaijan increased tariffs on imports as well as blocking Georgian agricultural products at the border. Georgian businessmen and farmers have suffered heavy financial losses.
