Farmers in stand-by mode

During the last election campaign Georgian Dream made large promises in improving the economy, particularly in the agricultural sector. These promises were repeated after the coalition's victory. The Ministry of Agriculture is committed to provide farmers with modern agricultural facilities and technology beginning this spring. The government plans to invest a large amount of money in various projects to support Georgian farmers. However details about the government's plans so far are vague and Georgian farmers are waiting for further information. So far 180 million lari has been allotted to improve Georgian agriculture.
