The National Statistics Office of Georgia published the economic results of 2012. It says the structure of the economic performance of the country has not changed much, compared to the previous year. The biggest share in the GDP growth was achieved by trade, followed by industry. There is was significant growth in the financial sector and in construction as well. The share of GDP in the agricultural sector is around 8%. However, most parts of the Georgian population are located in the rural areas. The Georgian government has to work hard to keep GDP on the desired level. All the segments should be reinforced, but agriculture should have the biggest support.
