Although Russian market was opened to Georgian wine only several weeks ago, Georgia’s overall export in other countries has been increasing during the last year almost by 34%. Georgia has managed to diversify the export of its wines, reorienting it from a destination other than Russia. It has been exporting wine to 27 different countries including Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus, but added to these old customers, new markets like China and Poland. From now on, as Georgia is regaining the Russian market, the export of wines will further increase.
