Tbilisi Fashion Week 2013 is over. The four-day event attracted Georgian designers, guests from abroad and just people who are simply interested in exploring new trends in fashion. Speaking of fashion trends, this year, Georgian designers decided to follow tradition and create the majority of the outfits in black.
Famous American designer Marc Bouwer, who opened Fashion Week in the Tbilisi History Museum with a mini collection, was a big exception during the event with his colorful and very feminine collection of dresses.
Apart from the fashion show and master classes, a contest for young designers also took place. Mariam Makharadze was revealed as the winner of the contest. As the winner she will be able to present her collection at the next Tbilisi Fashion Week. In addition, her work will be featured in Italian fashion magazines.
