CBA's monetary reserves reach $12.5bn

As of April 30, the monetary reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan totaled $12,499,900,000.

The reserves rose by 1.35% in April, a report from the official website for the Central Bank says.

Since the beginning of the year, this indicator has grown by 6.8% while the growth over the previous year grew to 14.1%.

To compare, as of March 31of this year, the monetary reserves of the Central Bank reached $12,332,600,000, as of 28 February it totaled $11,948,300,000, as of January- 31 $11,964,000,000; December 31, 2012 – $11,694,750,000; April 30, 2012– $10,951,700,000.

In 2012, the volume of monetary reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan grew by 11.6%, in 2011 by 63.6% and in 2010 by 24.1%.
