The newspaper Kvela Siakhle published a list of major problems that Tbilisi residents face. First in the list comes the lack of green space in the capital, followed by old collapsing houses; then come bakeries, street infrastructure, air pollution, the construction of ugly buildings, sewage problems, street vendors, pollution of the River Mtkvari, etc. Urban planners think that Tbilisi is a city with a lack of recreation zones. There are a lot of old buildings in Tbilisi that are in urgent need of repairs so that they do not collapse. Environmental pollution also remains a serious problem. People are irritated by the amount of street vendors around the capital.
