Over 2,100 tankers shipped from Ceyhan

The company Botas International Limited (BIL), the operator of the Turkish section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, has announced the details for the shipment of oil from the oil terminal to Ceyhan.
Since the start of loading oil to BTC (June 2, 2006) by May 10, 2013, there were 2,175 tankers shipped, according to the official website of Botas.
According to BTC, oil is pumped from the block of oil fields Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil and condensate from gas condensate field Shah Deniz in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
Turkmen oil is also transported via the pipeline following a new agreement signed in July of 2010. There is also an agreement on pumping Kazakh oil via BTC.
