Azerbaijan satisfies 5% of Europe’s demand on oil

Currently, oil from Azerbaijan satisfies 5% of the total European demand for the product. The biggest providers of oil in Europe are Russia and Norway, followed by Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan has been increasing its supplies to Europe for the last number of years. It is also providing Europe with natural gas. Europe is trying to get natural gas from Turkmenistan and northern Iraq as well.
