Number of labor migrants increase in Georgia

Georgia has recently become an attractive destination for labor migrants. On the one hand it receives labor migrants from Asia and Africa, while on the other hand Georgians leave the country to find fortune in Europe and America. The observation, made by the National Bank of Georgia, shows that the inflow of money transfers received in the country is decreasing whereas money transfer from the country, especially to African countries (Togo, Cameroon, etc) are increasing. Some economists suggest that this is a damaging situation for Georgia’s economic development
