Rezonansi reports that the prices for consumer goods are currently decreasing, and returning to the prices of 2008. Analysts explain this by different factors: mainly it is the acceptance of new players on the market and the overall decrease of the prices on the world market. Further decrease of prices has been foreseen. Prices have gone down on meat, cereals, sugar and flour. After the parliamentary elections in 2012, prices in Georgia went down on medicines, as well as petrol and diesel.
