Russia loses regional leader status

Russia may lose the position of regional leader and this role may shift to Kazakhstan by 2050. The experts involved in this research highlighted the problems that Russia is facing nowadays, including corruption, confrontation on ethnic grounds, faults in the civil sector, setbacks in management, and other factors.

Much attention has been paid to the issue of Islamic extremists in Russia. It was highlighted that the Kazakh model of development is more effective and successful. Kazakhstan is constructing a new state based on rational positions; whereas Russia is losing the right direction of constructing the national unity. Moscow is losing the arguments for creating ethnic, religious, and political stimuli to put the nation closer to each other; instead, Russian politics creates the sense of confrontation, disintegration, and collapse.
