The Geography of Georgian tourism: where do they all come from?

The GHN news agency reports that between January-June of 2013 more than 2 million foreigners entered Georgia. This is almost 30% more than in the same period last year. Most people entering the country in this period were coming from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia and Ukraine. Some people were also arrived to Georgia from the US. Around 52, 000 people entered Georgia from Asian countries; up to 20, 000 from the Middle East; up to 2, 700 from Africa; while 2, 000 hailed from other parts of the world. The number of people coming from Asia as well as European countries has increased.
