SOCAR increases its presence in Georgia

On July 24, SOCAR Georgian Gas launched the first stage of the local gas pipeline in Kartli region, which will provide natural gas to more than 300 customers. 500 kilometer-long gas pipelines have been built providing more than 16, 000 local households with natural gas. SOCAR Georgia plans to build an extra 600 kilometer long gas pipelines to satisfy up to 21, 000 more customers. SOCAR Energy Georgia which is the head company of SOCAR Georgia Gas, has been active in the country since 2007. It has built more than 3, 000 kilometers of pipelines, satisfying more than 160, 000 customers all around the country.
