In 2014 Georgia plans to finance new businesses with the so-called start-up financing project. Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, stated that a certain amount of money will be allocated for this purpose in the 2014 budget. He said it is important to support the start-ups in the business field as they may face a lot of difficulties because the banks have strict regulations under which the businessmen have difficulties to start their business because of the high risks. So the state has taken the responsibility to support the so-called start-up funding.
