“Repatriates” settling in Abkhazia

Repatriates from different countries – Syria, Russia, Turkey, etc are settling into the houses of Georgians who have been ousted from Abkhazian territory since 1993. According to the so-called leaders of Abkhazia, 4,262 people from Turkey, 2,500 from Russia and 531 from Syria have arrived in Abkhazia. Some of them were deployed at different hotels and the Abkhaz leadership is resettling them into the houses of Georgians who have fled the territory.
