Art-project the Batumi Street Stories underway

Netgazeti reports that the public art project Stories of the Streets of Batumi is taking its start. It is the second year since the NGO micro-phone is carrying out large scale exhibitions on various streets of Batumi inviting artists throughout the country to participate in the project with the original inhabitants of these streets.

The project was opened with the works of American artists. According to micro-phone a vehicle with special lighting and musical accompaniment moved across the streets making interesting shadows and compositions.

12 artists from different art centers will create group and individual exhibits which will be exhibited in the same streets of Batumi.

The exhibitions will slightly change the surface of the streets by promoting yet unknown, historical views via art.
