Azerbaijan invests in Afghanistan

Recently, Azerbaijan financed the oil refinery plant in Afghanistan in Mazar-i-Sharif. Azerbaijan officially stated that it is ready to further increase its investments in Afghanistan. Azerbaijan has invested more than $30 million in the Mazar-i-Sharif oil refinery. It processes 500 tons of crude oil daily but it has the potential to bring this figure up to 1,500 tons.

Azerbaijan is ready to invest over $1 billion in Afghanistan.
