Georgian export increases in Russia

The special envoy of Georgia in relations with Russia, Zurab Abashidze, stated that by the end of 2013, Georgian products worth more than 100 million GEL will enter the Russian market. Georgian alcohol drinks and mineral waters have been out flowing from Georgia to Russia so far through the Kazbegi-Larsi customs checkpoint. There is a considerable increase of Russian tourists to Georgia. The Georgian side takes different steps to improve motor transportation facilities and improve the issue of regular flights between the two countries. By the end of the year, the Georgian citruses, fruit and vegetables will also go to the Russian market. Abashidze expressed his concern that the most important issue is a decrease in the possibility of starting conflicts and violence between the two countries.
