IMF mission to work on tax administration issues in Georgia

Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri met with a mission from the International Monetary Fund, headed by Enrico Aavi.
IMF representatives will work on issues of tax administration jointly with the income service of the ministry, the Georgian Ministry of Finance said on Wednesday.
The IMF mission will develop recommendations for Georgia on issues such as tax administration, procedures for returning overpaid taxes, the necessary conditions for effective audits, among other issues.
Minister Khaduri thanked the IMF representatives for their cooperation and said that during their visit they will be provided with comprehensive information about the current administration system and tax law.
The mission ends at the end of next week. (Trend)
