SOCAR reduces diesel fuel price in Georgia
Monday, September 30
The diesel fuel price has dropped by 15 tetri - to 1.90 lari ($1 =1.66 lari) at SOCAR's entire 105 petrol stations in Georgia. According to SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, which is a SOCAR subsidiary, proceeding from financial and economic issues, it is difficult for the company to preserve the price at a low level. As the autumn agricultural operations begin in the country, the demand of fuel will significantly increase. Taking into account these circumstances, the company decided to reduce the diesel fuel price. This has already affected consumer activity.
After a decline in prices, more than 350,000 litres of diesel is sold every day.
SOCAR Georgia Petroleum intends on maintaining this price throughout the autumn.
