More and more regions of Georgia continue successfully and are nearly finishing the grape vintage in Georgia. In Kakheti, up to 70,000 tons of grapes were processed, and the country has distributed more than 5 million GEL compensation. Private companies were buying grapes from the farmers and the process was organized in a rational way so that the farmers did not complain. Wineries tried to increase their capacity for placing and processing grapes. Of course, the return of Georgian wines to the Russian market influenced the increase of production.
