Georgia joins Balkan and Black Sea Petroleum Association

The Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation joined the Balkan and Black Sea Petroleum Association (BBSPA).
The Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation told Trend that the membership in the association will allow this organization to regularly receive monthly bulletins on the oil and gas sector in the regional countries, information about the gas production, pipelines in the region, contract prices for gas and other issues. BBSPA is the union of the leading oil and gas companies of the countries of the Balkan Peninsula and the Black Sea. Its main objectives are to promote the development of the regional oil and gas market, its liberalization and diversification, as well as exchange information. The association members are Anadarko, AXPO Trading, BP, Bulgartransgaz, Chevron, Hellenic Petroleum, Lukoil, NIS-Gazprom Neft, OMV, Romgaz, Schlumberger, Statoil, Total, Wintershall Erdgas, KPM.
