Batumi port turnover increases

In the first half of 2013, turnover at Batumi port increased by almost 26% compared to the same period last year. The biggest share of using Batumi port belongs to Azerbaijan. Its transit production comprises almost 95% of Georgia’s total transit from this port. The biggest share of imported goods entering Georgia through Batumi port comes from Ukraine and Turkey.
