Georgian Deputy Minister of Agriculture responds to Russia's statement

Deputy Minister of Agriculture David Shervashidze has responded to statements made by Russia's State Sanitary Service, who rejected the importation of 28 Georgian wines and spirits.
"I want to believe that sales of Georgian products on Russian market will have no problems." Shervashidze said. "In this particular case, we will thoroughly study the issue and then make statements accordingly." he added.
Jimi Chkhaidze, founder of Askaneli Brothers, one of the companies mentioned in Russian statement, said that the Russian government has no problem with his company's products. (Hvino News)
