Kazakh and Georgian companies sign contracts worth $ 3.5 million

Kazakh producers of flour, pasta, and salt signed export contracts worth $ 3.5 million with Georgian buyers, Kaznex Invest reported. The contracts were signed within the trade mission of domestic exporters, which takes place in Tbilisi. Around 12 Kazakh machine-building, chemical, construction, pharmaceutical and food enterprises held negotiations with potential buyers about the possible supply of its products to Georgia. Besides the traditional business forum, Kaznex Invest agency organized the meetings in the state bodies for the trade mission participants. The companies can directly ask questions about the participation in state projects, tenders, registration process, procurement rules, and so on. The KZ Construction Company presented its products to the Georgian First vice Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure. The Georgian Health Minister received such pharmaceutical companies as Dolce, Abdi Ibrahim Global Farm and MedAspapOptika. Kazakhstan's largest fertilizer producer - KazAzot presented its products to the Georgian Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
This is the second meeting between the businesspersons of the two countries, organized by the National Agency for Export and Investment and Kaznex Invest, together with the Georgian Chamber of Commerce. The first visit was made in 2011.. (Trend)
