SOCAR to provide free gas to religious sites in Georgia during year

Starting from November, 2013, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will provide free gas to the objects belonging to religious structures of all confessions in Georgia during the following year. Patriarch of Georgia, Ilia II, and SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, signed the memorandum on Saturday. The Georgian Patriarch thanked Abdullayev and stressed that the Georgian and Azerbaijani people have been living in brotherhood and peace for a long time already. Georgian Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze attended the signing ceremony.
