Margvelashvili rejects Eurasian Union
Thursday, October 24
Presidential candidate of the Georgian Dream coalition, Giorgi Margvelashvili, stated on October 22 that the Georgian government studied the issue of the Eurasian and EU directions for the country development and came to the conclusion that the EU direction is much more beneficial for Georgia than the Eurasian Union. Margvelashvili stated there is nothing wrong in studying different options, because the country is trying to enlarge its trade-economic relations with different countries. “The EU is our choice, politically and economically,” Margvealshvili emphasized.
