The number of foreign visitors increases

From January-October, 2013, 4.5 million people entered Georgia. This is 23% more than the number of visitors in the same period of last year. Out of this number, approximately 1.8 million were tourists, 1 million – transit, and 1.7 – others (business delegations, relatives, friends, etc).
Most frequently, the guests visit Georgia from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, and Iran. Guests from Israel and the EU member countries also often visit Georgia expressing more and more interest in Georgia’s many tourist destinations. (The Messenger)
