Shah Deniz natural gas well construction underway

Construction of the second stage of Shaz Deniz natural gas well is planned before the beginning of 2014. Construction of all the necessary facilities is planned to last for five years, finishing in 2018. The gas will flow to Turkey and to European countries. The trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) is envisaged to pump the Caspian Sea region natural gas to Italy and the rest of Europe via Georgia, Turkey, Greece, and Albania.
