High transit tariffs affect Georgia

Georgia tries to exploit its transit capacity. However, it faces difficulties from the neighboring countries. For instance, Georgia provides acceptable prices to Kazakh grain transit to Georgia via Azerbaijan, while Azerbaijan charges Kazakh clients high prices. Meanwhile, Russia gives more moderate prices to Kazakh wheat producers although Georgian transit is shorter and more convenient due to financial problems it faces difficulties. The only way out of the situation is to organize special meeting between the Georgia and Azeri leadership to regulate this issue.
