Director General of the South Caucasus Railways, Victor Rebets, said the railway connection between Iran and Armenia should start no earlier than mid 2015.
Armenia is concerned over the construction of the water reservoirs in Turkey.
Armenian Prime Minster, Tygran Sargsyan, assigned appropriate services to evaluate the decision of the Turkish government to construct large water reservoirs which will influence the level of water in the Ararat valley in the Armenian territory.
Turkey has assigned $12 billion for this project. However, the Armenian government is concerned about the possible outcome of these reservoirs.
