"Golden Parchment" Granted to Georgian Soldiers

A Georgian soldier has received the title, “Person of the Year,” and became a laureate of the "Golden Parchment" in 2013. The public opinion poll was conducted by the news agency GHN throughout Georgia. 2 735 citizens of Georgia participated in the poll. According to 62% of the respondents, the Georgian soldier deserves the title of the "Person of the Year" and laureate of the "Golden Parchment".
At the solemn ceremony, the award was handed over to military personnel who were wounded in international operations and in the fight for the territorial integrity of Georgia.
Winners were named in 12 nominations. The poll also revealed the best politician, businessman, artist, journalist, sportsman, company, project, brand and communicator.
