Azerbaijan to promote its tourism at EMITT exhibition

Azerbaijan will promote its tourism potential at the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition EMITT-2014 to take place in Istanbul, Turkey, late this month.
Azerbaijan`s pavilion at the event will occupy a total area of 70 square meters.
The EMITT Exhibition will be held for the fifteenth time. In 2012, the exhibition attracted 4000 participants from 60 countries and almost completely filled the available rooms at the TUYAP Exhibition space.
At the EMITT exhibition, attended by 57,000 tourism professionals and 71,000 visitors hailing from 60 countries totaling 128,000 people; all of Turkey’s eminent travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, plus over 200 cities and hundreds of participants from 60 countries, prepared for the 2012 season.
The EMITT Exhibition, open to tourism professionals during the first two days and open to the public during the last two, is the only exhibition in the region that, despite the economic crisis, increased 25% compared to the prior year in 2011 and 10% compared to the prior year in 2012. (AzerTAc)
