PM Garibashvili meets European investment official

The deepening of Georgia’s relationship with Europe was the focus of a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the Managing Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Olivier Descamps.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the deepening relationships with Europe and attracting European investment.
Currently, EBRD is investing more than 1.8 billion Euros in Georgia, financing about 150 projects where the majority of funding goes into the private sector.
According to a statement released by the Prime Minister administration, Olivier Descamps is the senior official in EBRD , and assists in developing the policy towards Georgia. He is the EBRD representative of Turkey, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. (Agenda.Ge)
