Summarizing the Results of Bilateral Meetings

On the sideline of the 50th Munich Security Conference, the Georgian Delegation, under the leadership of Prime-Minister Irakli Garibashvili, held bilateral meetings with the representatives of foreign countries. While commenting with Georgian journalists, the Prime-Minister of Georgia summed-up the results of the bilateral meetings held within the MSC. The prime-minister expressed satisfaction for the busy bilateral meetings. He especially emphasized the meeting with President of the Federation of German Industries, Ulrich Grillo. As he outlined, the president was interested in the Georgian investment environment and expressed his will to visit Georgia. Defense Minister of Georgia Irakli Alasania also summarized the results of the bilateral meetings held within the MSC. He highlighted Georgia’s contributions in the process of NATO integration:
“One of the main and basic topics was the upcoming NATO Summit in the UK, as well as the chances Georgia and other aspirant countries have in order to take more steps forward for further integration. We also referred to Georgia’s contribution to global security and joining the NATO Response Force. Hence, our military’s high integration promotes Georgia’s political integration to NATO.”
