Exporting citruses form Georgia

According to official information, the export of citruses is currently increasing in Georgia. In 2013, Georgia exported up to 38,000 tons of citruses, receiving more than $20 million USD. In 2012 the country exported 17,000 tons of citruses, receiving $7.6 million USD.
The largest amount of exported citruses goes to Ukraine. From 2013 since Russia lifted its embargo on Georgian agricultural products, Georgia imported to Russia more than 20,000 tons of citruses, receiving around $9 million USD.
