Money transfers from Russia to Armenia

In 2013, private transfers from Russia to Armenia reached $1.6 billion USD. 86% of the total transfers to Armenia come from Russia so that 14% of Armenia’s GDP consists of transfers from Russia. Private transfers in Armenia reached nearly $1.9 billion USD altogether in 2013.

670,000 Armenian citizens entered the Russian Federation in 2013. Only 130,000 managed to legalize their presence in Russia. Others – work and live there illegally.
