SOCAR the biggest tax payer in Georgia

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has several daughter companies in Georgia. From these, SOCAR Energy Georgia is the biggest investor and SOCAR Georgia petroleum is the largest taxpayer.

The companies own petrol stations, introduce petrol and diesel into the country; SOCAR Georgia Gas distributes natural gas to customers, arranging a huge network of gas supply systems in the country.

Since 2009 SOCAR Georgia Gas installed 4,000 km of pipelines in Georgia.
